MCQ-Master is operated by Adhyaapak Education Private Limited. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, account system, practice questions, progress tracking, test sessions, notes, bookmarks, analytics, and support communications.
This policy is prepared for Indian users with reference to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and applicable consumer protection requirements.
Personal Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash for email sign-in, Google account identifier, and Google profile details such as name, email, and profile image when you use Google sign-in.
- Learning data: questions attempted, selected answers, correct or wrong results, time spent, session history, progress, saved questions, notes, reminders, milestones, streaks, and leaderboard or peer-comparison data.
- Device and usage data: browser, device type, approximate technical logs, pages or features used, errors, security events, and cookie preferences.
- Support data: messages, requests, attachments, and contact details shared with us for support, grievance, deletion, correction, refund, or copyright requests.
Google Sign-In Disclosure
If you continue with Google, we use Google OAuth only to authenticate you and create or access your MCQ-Master account. We may receive your name, email address, profile picture, and a unique Google account identifier.
We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Contacts, Calendar, or other Google files. We do not sell Google user data, and we use it only for authentication, account security, personalization, and support.
How We Use Data
- To provide accounts, authentication, practice sessions, saved questions, notes, progress tracking, reminders, and test history.
- To personalize learning, calculate analytics, show question performance, maintain consistency features, and improve the product.
- To secure the platform, detect abuse, prevent unauthorized access, debug incidents, and maintain audit logs.
- To send account, support, policy, security, and service communications.
- To comply with legal duties, enforce terms, process complaints, and respond to lawful requests.
Consent, Choice, and Withdrawal
You provide consent when you create an account, use Google sign-in, accept optional cookies, submit support requests, or continue using account-based features that require personal data.
You may withdraw consent, request correction, request access, export data, or request deletion by emailing support@mcqmaster.com. Some data may be retained when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity.
Cookies and Tracking
Necessary cookies are used for authentication, security, session continuity, and remembering preferences. Optional analytics cookies, if enabled, are used only after consent.
You can decline optional cookies from the cookie banner. Declining optional cookies does not block the core learning service, but some analytics-based improvement features may be limited.
Sharing and Processors
- Authentication providers, including Google OAuth and NextAuth, for secure sign-in.
- Hosting, database, logging, and infrastructure providers used to run the service.
- Payment gateways only if paid plans are enabled in the future, and only for payment, invoice, refund, and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Legal, regulatory, or law-enforcement recipients when required by applicable law.
Security and Retention
Passwords are hashed, data transmission should use HTTPS/TLS in production, and access to production data should be limited to authorized personnel.
Account and learning data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, production records should be removed within a reasonable operational period, subject to backup, security, legal, tax, dispute, and fraud-prevention needs.
Children and Minors
The service is intended for competitive exam aspirants. Users under 18 should use the service with parent or guardian consent and supervision.
